Just got back from jaunt down to NYC. Argh, love that place! Will post some pics tomorrow, but in the meantime, here's a wee project inspired by the capital G-Gorgeous pics from the What Katie Ate blog. It's making napkins with rough edges, just cut out of linen - no sewing required! Nice.
I'm getting all super-inspired by home-y stuff again, because last night we checked out the apartment allocated to us by the school for this summer and the next semesters, and it's So. Much. Nicer. Like, as nice as I convince myself that we have our little pad, we walked back into our place last night and it was like 'ok it's pretty student dorm-y' (and because of course you see the term 'student-dorm-chic' bandied about in all the cool interior mags right? Ha.)
But next year's place is old and has these beautiful old windows and wooden floors and character, and I'm day dreaming already about the little cushions and cafe curtains I'm going to sew up for the place. Sad eh?
